Fundraise for REDRESS
Show your support, make a difference and raise money for REDRESS. Whether it is running a marathon, trekking through the Sahara desert or hosting a fundraising party for friends, your support will help us to combat torture.
The money that you raise could help us secure justice for torture survivors in the UK and worldwide. It could help us to ensure that perpetrators of torture are investigated and prosecuted. It could support our work to ensure that torture survivors’ rights are upheld in international and national courts and tribunals.
Virgin London Marathon 2012
The Virgin London Marathon 2012 will be taking place on Sunday 22nd April, and REDRESS’ 2012 team of runners are busy training for their 26.2 mile run through the capital. We have seven runners this year: Charles Barclay, Arild Dregelid, Francis Fitzgibbon, Roger Foulger, Ben Freedman, Don Guttenplan and Alice Haslem. They have each pledged to raise £1,200 for REDRESS. These donations make a very real and significant contribution in supporting our work to combat torture and obtain justice for torture survivors. Please support our runners by visiting their fundraising pages and offering your sponsorship and encouragement:
If you are interested in running for REDRESS, we will soon be recruiting for the British 10K London Run which takes place on 8 July 2012. Contact catie@redress.org for more information.
